Affordable wireless sensors report temperature and humidity up to every 30 seconds, where many systems report every 20 minutes. Batteries last 3 to 8 years, depending on how cold the unit runs.
Alarms run on calculated averages, so defrost cycles, restocking and door openings don’t page anyone. A real problem raises the alarm while it is developing, not after the product is lost.
High-resolution history shows how each unit actually runs, and a maintenance flag marks a unit that is working too hard before it fails. Three alert tiers escalate by push, email and text.

Every ThermoBacon device carries one QR label. Scan it with your phone, plug the device in, and it configures itself. No laptop, no network passwords typed into hardware, no IT ticket.
Wireless BLE sensors are auto-detected by the gateway. No wiring needed — just place and go.

The complete monitoring and alerting system, with small ThermoBacon Gateways on the store’s own WiFi listening for the sensors. Enter the store WiFi once, scan each Gateway, plug it in near the coolers.
A battery-backed Base Station plugs into one Ethernet port and carries its own cellular connection as a fallback. Mesh Nodes around the store form a private network back to it. Nothing joins the store’s WiFi.
